Nesting Box for Robins

Robins and wrens love wooden bird boxes with a wide entrance which are situated in an area with natural cover from shrubs or plants.

This nesting box for robins is made from a natural Silver Birch log which has been rebuilt to prevent it from splitting.

The box has a natural appearance which is particularly suitable for use in a natural garden or school woodland area.

The box has a screwed down lid to provide the birds with protection but, if you need to clean the box, simply undo one screw and swivel the lid round. It will, however, need no maintenance.

Pied Wagtails, Spotted Flycatchers, Wrens and Robins will all be attracted to this box. It should be attached to a tree, wall or fence secure from predators at between 1.5 and 2m high facing N to SE.
