Salad Planting Bags from Burgon & Ball

A patio salad planter with re-enforced webbing handles. This salad planting bag from Burgon and Ball is ideal for growing radishes lettuces, cress and other green leaves. They are fabulously easy to use with drainage holes to prevent the plants from getting water logged. To grow lettuce all you need to do is to get some gravel, stones or broken plant pots to go in the bottom of the bag. Add some compost, sprinkle on your seeds, water, thin them out, protect from slugs and harvest. If you mentally divide the bag into sections and plant seeds in a new section every week or two then you will be able to harvest throughout the summer months.
